On December 2nd, the first of the two Stockholm Innovation Days is dedicated to sharing the outcome of the FNS innovation activities in 2015 and get inspired by two great industrial keynotes by Alberto Torrón, Telefónica and Demed L'her, SAP Sweden.
You will hear about an IoT business strategy from an operators point of view and the Opportunites and Challenges in IoT from a business perspective. From the FNS Business community you will learn what it takes to make startups succeed. As EIT Digital integrates education with research and business you will also get a report from the courses provided to Master students in the area of IoT - billions of things to connect in only two weeks.
From research and innovation we will see demos of commercial use of innovation projects. SDN@Edge can be viewed as a "Nervous System" for the Digital Society and Economy. ACTIVE - will provide the industry with an advanced connectivity platform for vertical segments - hear more about this high impact initiative that will keep almost 30 researchers busy the next year.
Projects that have resulted in commercial use in 2015 are very promising. One project provides impact on environmentally friendly IoT for transport, another one delivers efficient IoT content for a horizontal application space. A third proves that lean and mean live video sharing and quality does matter. And we are urged to experience the instant - here and now...
