The Berlin Node, our Action Line Security and Privacy and our partner CASED/TU Darmstadt present an annual Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ACM CCS 2013), to be held in Berlin from November 4-8.

The conference takes place at the Berlin Congress Centre (bcc) in the east centre of Berlin – right next to Alexanderplatz (Alexander’s Square, commonly known as Alex).

The ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) is the flagship annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Security, Audit and Control (SIGSAC) of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The conference brings together information security researchers, practitioners, developers, and users from all over the world to explore cutting-edge ideas and results. It provides an environment to conduct intellectual discussions. From its inception, CCS has established itself as a high standard research conference in its area.

Prof. Ahmad-Reza Sadeghi from CASED/TU Darmstadt - one of Europe's foremost ICT Security research institutes - has been selected to organize ACM CCS 2013. Being exclusively hosted in the US for the last ten years, bringing the conference to Berlin acknowledges the vital role of European researchers in shaping the research agenda in the area of computer and communications security.

The organisers are looking forward to seeing many EIT ICT Labs researchers at this summit. Please register here if you wish to attend. More information on the summit to be found here.
