Crowncom 2012 is  the 7th International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks. The program features several Keynote speeches, special sessions, workshops and interesting social events -  visits to Ericsson Experience center, EIT ICT Labs and a banquet at the Museum of Modern Arts.

Conference topics:
Cognitive radio provides a flexible platform that enables the design of systems using the spectrum in radically new ways. How to harness the power the cognition offers is however still an open problem. 

Crowncom 2012 covers a broad range of important and timely issues related to spectrum regulation and use of TV white spaces, techno-economical analysis, and development of new concepts and algorithms to further improve the performance of the cognitive radio systems. 

EIT ICT Labs Stockholm CLC open visit during the conference
In coffee and lunch breaks the participants are invited to visit the EIT ICT Labs Stockholm Co-location Centre and get a presentation of activities and demos of the multi-touch wall, the video café and the latest NFC technology for access control. 

WifiUS meeting 
The first open meeting of WiFiUS (Virtual Institute for Wireless Research between Finland and USA) will be held at KTH on June 20th 2012 in association with CrownCom 2012. 

Quasar workshop and panel discussion
On Wednesday June 20th, the atendees of the conference have a chance to participae in an open workshop arranged by the EU FP7 project Quasar. It includes a panel dicussion on the theme: Secondary spectrum access - A gap filler or game changing paradigm?
