EIT Digital participates at this year’s Digital Life Design conference DLD 2017 that will take place 15-17 January 2017 in Munich. Being one of the most influential tech conferences in Europe DLD regularly brings together scientists, business leaders, politicians, artists, game changers and startup entrepreneurs to discuss upcoming challenges of digitalisation and its effects on society, business and technology.
On Sunday, 15 January, EIT Digital CEO Willem Jonker will debate in a panel on stage about Europe’s Digital Future and how the continent’s competitive edge can be upheld while facing thriving competition from other regions. Willem Jonker will be joined by Werner Vogels, the CTO of Amazon and Marc Al-Hames, Managing Director of the startup CLIQZ. The panel will be moderated by the Member of the European Parliament and former Vice-President of the European Commission, Viviane Reding.
