EIT Digital France satellite in Rennes is proud to contribute to the second edition of the EUROPEAN CYBER WEEK, with the co-organization of a full-day conference dedicated to “Cybersecurity & Health" on November, 30th 2017.
Today more than ever, cybersecurity in the health sector is a real issue! As the recent WannaCry attack reminded us when it hit the UK’s National Health Service.
At the same time, the healthcare sector is facing major challenges with an ageing population, the need for better homecare, doctor shortages in rural areas, etc..., but also will benefit from the digital transformation for better prevention and diagnosis through patient medical data recording and analytics.
The Cybersecurity & Health” conference will look at today’s major cybersecurity issues with scientific keynotes, panels of experts and networking addressing data anonymisation, cloud security, personal data protection and specificities of healthcare IT systems, security of connected medical devices and biomedical equipment, telemedicine.
