European Conference Industrial Technologies 2016

The European Conference Industrial Technologies 2016 will be held on June 22-24 in the RAI Amsterdam. This is the largest networking conference in the field of new production technologies, materials, nanotechnology, biotechnology and digitalisation in Europe, with high level delegates.

Industrial Technologies 2016 - Creating a Smart Europe is organized as an associated event of the Netherlands Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2016. The node director of EIT Digital in Eindhoven, Patrick Essers will be speaking about Entrepreneurial innovation & education driving Europe's digital transformation.

The conference that brings together research, industry, education, finance and policy from manufacturing and process industry and technology domains from all over Europe to identify priorities that are crucial to strengthen the European industrial innovation ecosystem.

The way forward is to create a future industry, based on Europe-wide cross-sectoral innovation and a multidisciplinary integration of digitalisation and industrial technologies.

Fit for the future

The conference aims to co-develop the European agenda for the transition to a competitive European industry that is fit for the future. For this purpose the programme includes a policy track in which pressing issues for policy makers will be discussed, priorities will be identified and recommendations for policy will be formulated. The policy track will result in a policy agenda that will be presented to Commissioner Moedas.
