Don’t miss the opportunity to explore how Internet of Things can help to improve personal health and healthcare. Health Hack Academy is a hackathon where projects are developed to solve real life health issues, using IoT technology and connected devices. The aim is to help people be healthy. And to solve challenges that matter.

Selected teams are offered hands-on coaching and support in prototyping and service design by Red Dot Design Award winners Veryday after the hackthon. These teams also get the chance to present their solutions at our IoT for Health session at the international conference Digital Health Days September 24.

Are you a gadget geek, entrepreneur, designer, hardware hacker, Quantified Self freak, coder, UX expert, behavioral psychologist, game developer, medical doctor, personal trainer, patient, nurse, student or business developer interested in health? Make sure to apply for this year’s event.

The challenge areas are the creation of

  • Tools that help us all to live healthier lives
  • Tools for rehab that help people to get back on track faster
  • Tools to help people with chronic diseases to increase quality of life
