The next edition of ICT.Open takes place on 24 and 25 March 2015 at de Flint Amersfoort. Almost 400 participants will be welcomed at this event where science, industry and policy makers from the ICT field come together. EIT ICT Labs will contribute to this event with a parallel session in the Business Track on 25 March and awarding the ‘Meet the demo Award 2015’.
Business Track
Special attention is asked for the business track on Wednesday 25 March. During the track you will get inspired by the invited speakers who will elaborate on their experiences in the science industry collaborations. EIT ICT Labs is one of the contributors to the business track and will focus on ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The presentation will be given by Alain Le Loux, EIT ICT Labs Business Accelerator and serial entrepreneur.

Alain le Loux will sketch in his presentation the startup landscape and the positioning of EIT ICT Labs in this. In addition he will share his experience as a serial entrepreneur and the do’s and don’ts of getting your innovation into market. From out of his experience as EIT ICT Labs Business Accelerator, he will shine a light on the opportunity that the European network of EIT ICT Labs offers and the 'Idea Challenge' a EU wide contest for innovators with the drive to found a business .
EIT ICT LABS Meet the demo Award 2015
One of the main goals of EIT ICT Labs is to stimulate and support and entrepreneurial mindset among students, PhDs and researchers in the area of ICT. Therefore EIT ICT Labs will contribute to the event with a ‘ Meet the demo Award’ for the project with the best market potential, as demonstrated by the combination of the innovativeness of the concept and entrepreneurial attitude recognised in the project. The line-up for the award exists out of 40 demo’s. The winner will be announced during the Award ceremony on 25 March from 15:00-15:30 hrs.
