Save the date! 5th Innovation Relay on 12 November 2013
In exactly one year, on 12 November 2013, the Innovation Relay (Innovatie Estafette) will be held for the fifth time. This time at the RAI Conference Center in Amsterdam.
It promises to be an exiting day bubbling with new ideas. You will have the chance to experience Dutch innovations en innovative businesses and meet like-minded people, experts and cutting-edge thinkers.
This anniversary event will be designed and organised in collaboration with the "Club van Maarssen" which is a online community of people from the government, the academic and scientific institutes, business and other citizens who’s aim is to stimulate innovations. Other organisers are the nine Dutch Top Sectors and the Ministries of Infrastructure and Environment and Economic Affairs.
Prominent national and international speakers will share their stories and insights with you: how their innovative ideas and products have contributed to making the Netherlands more beautiful, more sustainable and better equipped. Previous Innovation Estafettes heralded the breakthrough of the sand motor, electric transport and the use of phosphate as valuable raw material. Businesses, government, academic and scientific institutes and creative, innovative people will demonstrate in workshops how cross-sector links can be developed to obtain creative results in real products. In the exhibition area hundreds of exhibitors will showcase their ideas, their prototypes, their inventions and how they have been realised.
