For the truly stellar start, we have two special guests from NASA and ESA who will share insights on the use of satellite data!
Talk 1. NASA: The role of small satellites in space exploration and technological advancement.
Speaker: Andres Martinez, Program Executive, NASA Headquarters. Andres Martinez is currently a Program Executive in the Advanced Exploration Systems (AES) division of the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate (HEOMD) at NASA Headquarters. His focus is on Small Satellites and he is responsible for several deep space missions.
Talk 2. ESA-NASA WebWorldWind - Easy Access and Visualisation of Satellite Data.
Speaker: Yann Voumard, Lead Software Engineer, Solenix Deutschland GmbH. Yann Voumard currently holds the role of Technical Coordinator in the scope of a fast prototyping contract with the European Space Agency, providing his expert guidance and advise in the different prototyping and mobile app development activities, including the leadership of the WebWorldWind team in Europe.
