October 14-16, the EIT ICT Labs Master School community will get together in Berlin to celebrate the start of studies for the second cohort of Master School students. Over 170 first year EIT ICT Labs Master School students will participate in a unique kick-off event hostet by the TU Berlin. Invited are students and university representatives among other guests.
Programme
The three-day official opening will take place in the main building of TU Berlin, Straße des 17. Juni 135, 10623 Berlin. The programm will start around lunch time on Monday, October 14 and will end after lunch on Wednesday, October 16. Please find the detailed programme here.
Online Registration
Registration is obligatory for all guests. UPDATE: Registration is now closed.
Accommodation (for students only!)
Students will stay October 14 and 15 in InterCity Hotel next to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Each student has to share a room with a fellow student.
How to get there
We recommend that you go directly to the venue if you are landing any later than 11:00 a.m. If you happen to have more time, you are free to go the hotel. Check in start normally after 14:00 but you might be lucky and check in early. In any case you can leave your bags at the hotel.

From Berlin Tegel airport (TXL) to TU Berlin
Take bus X9 heading towards S+U-Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten and get off at U-Bahnhof Ernst-Reuter-Platz. This ride will take approximately 20 minutes. You will find the main building of TU Berlin at Straße des 17. Juni 135.
From Berlin Schönefeld airport (SXF) to TU Berlin
Take the free shuttle bus to the S-Bahn station “Berlin-Schönefeld”. Take the fast train (RE7 or RB14) or the slower train (S9 or S45) to “Zoologischer Garten” station. From there, take the U-Bahn U2 heading towards Ruhleben and get off at Ernst-Reuter-Platz. This trip will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes. You will find the main building of TU Berlin at Straße des 17. Juni 135.
From the airport to the hotel (for students)
Intercity Hotel is directly opposite to the Berlin main station (“Hauptbahnhof” station). You will find the hotel at Katharina-Paulus-Straße 5. See map. Tel. +49 (0)30 28 87 550.
From Berlin Tegel airport (TXL) to InterCity Hotel
Take bus TXL and get out at “Hauptbahnhof”. Cross the station hall to exit again at Washingtonplatz, Intercity Hoteis at your right hand side, behind Meininger Hotel
From Berlin Schönefeld airport (SXF) to InterCity Hotel
Take the free shuttle bus to the S-Bahn station “Berlin-Schönefeld”. Take the fast train (RE7 or RB14) or the slower train (S9 or S45) to “Hauptbahnhof”, Berlins main station. Exit the station at “Washingtonplatz” and find Intercity Hote at your right hand side, behind Meininger Hotel.
From the student hotel to the venue
At “Hauptbahnhof”, take train S5, S7 or S25 (S-Bahn) from Platform 16 to “Tiergarten” (just two stations), then walk 7 min. to the main entrance of TU-Berlin. Once inside you turn left, then walk up to the wardrobe on your right hand.
