New students of 2014/15 of the EIT ICT Labs Master School will get together for the grand opening of their Master School studies for a unique kick-off event this year in Budapest. For three days, students from 19 leading European universities have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with their fellow students across technical majors, universities and country borders.

Programme

The programme will start around lunchtime on Thursday, 23 October and will end in the afternoon on Saturday, 25 October. Almost 300 students will start their MSc studies in 2014 and meet here at this event full of various interesting activities suplemented with the usual elegant gala dinner. Students will be divided into working groups with a specific topic on ICT challenges to be developed into a project presentation for the last day pitch session. Throughout the programme startups, succesful ICT entrepreneurs and business representatives, presentation trainers will share their hands on experience on both ICT and entrepreneurial aspects of a successful ICT company in their presentations. Representatives of EIT ICT Labs will talk about the actual initiatives on ICT education and provide a perspective view on the future development of education related to the key areas.

The action-packed programme will make sure that students get to know all their fellow students, the faculty and our organization.
