Program
Kartik Karuna presents BEST, Board of European Students of Technology. - Presentation of EBEC, European BEST Engineering Competition - Light lunch and networking

Student networking and competition opportunities!
BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a non-profit and non-political organisation. 94 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 32 countries are creating a growing, well organised, powerful, young and innovative student network.

BEST strives to help European students of technology to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. Therefore we create opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through our academic and non-academic events and educational symposia.

EBEC -European BEST Engineering Competition- is a project organised by BEST that gathers the top engineering students from across Europe. Participants will work in teams of four and will use their technical and soft skills, cultural awareness and creativity to find a solution for a given problem. In doing this, participants are given the chance to put their skills and knowledge towards endeavours outside those in the classrooms and to improve upon their soft skills such as communication and creativity .

The two competition categories this year are: Case Study and Team Design. In the case study format , competitors are challenged to provide a conceptual solution to a real world problem. In the Team Design challenge a Working Prototype is the main Deliverable .
