Mobile Future is the leading business and developer conference in the mobile space in the Nordics. Inspiring speakers and experts talk about major industry trends and discuss how to monetize mobile services. Mobile Future and the Swedish Mobile Awards is organized for the 13th time by the leading publications in the Nordic region – Mobil and Mobil Business Magazine.
A new feature this year is the co-organisation with The Nordic Mobile Developer Summit which promises an even more interesting meet-up and includes the whole spectrum of mobile players - tech start-ups, developers, operators, handset manufacturers, entrepreneurs and representatives from banks, public sector, media, retail, transport and energy.
At the Mobile Business Showcase, EIT ICT Labs will be exhibiting and take the opportunity to connect with the established and up-and-coming industry players in the mobile ecosystem, as well as executives from other industries interested in the future of mobile solutions. Startups are able to pitch their business to venture capitalists and large brand owners, both national and international at the Big Money Meet-up and Customer Meet-up. Throughout the years, major investments have been made.
The day is concluded with a gala evening – the Mobil Magazine and its business spin-off Mobil: Business are hosting the well-regarded Swedish Mobile Awards for the 13th year running. The most innovative mobile companies and initiatives of the year are shortlisted to win the prestigious Golden Mobile. Prizes are awarded in twenty categories and the winners determined by a respected jury of mobile and innovation experts.
Former winners at the Swedish Mobile Awards include: Spotify, Skype, Wrapp, Soundcloud, TrueCaller and many many more Swedish mobile stars, as well as international players who have succeeded in the region, such as Netflix.
