EIT ICT Labs presents its startup support and business development activities at Outreach Event for Polish startups in Gdansk, Poland
On 2 April 2014, EIT ICT Labs will travel to Gdansk, Poland, to liaise with the startup ecosystem of the Trójmiasto region on the Baltic coast and present EIT ICT Labs and its startup support activities to regional startup representatives and national multipliers.
EIT ICT Labs will host the event jointly with Olivia Business Centre in the Sky Lounge of Olivia Tower.
Scope and mission
For EIT ICT Labs German Node Director Udo Bub will give an overview of the scope and mission of the Labs, and Business Director Klaus Beetz will present the Business Development Accelerator and its focus on embedding startups in the EIT ICT Labs ecosystem.
The event will focus on current activities relevant to attending startups, so the recently launched EIT ICT Labs Idea Challenge and the Telekom Innovation Contest, for which EIT ICT Labs is implementation partner, as well as AppCampus will be introduced by Tobias Heger and Kai Huotari.
Also invited as guest speakers are noted technology bloggers Grzegorz Marczak (antyweb.pl) and Natalia Hatalska (hatalska.com).
Networking
The event will close with a networking session which gives all participants the opportunity to connect with the speakers and the representatives of EIT ICT Labs and the Business Angel Seedfund.
The official programm starts at 4:00 pm with several presentations. At approximately 7:00 pm a networking event takes place.
