Thematic Action Line "Digital cities of the future"

The civil personal safety topic is witnessing a great advance during the last few years. This is due to the explosive growth of wireless networks types. The advanced wireless network technologies just like LTE will be widely adopted in a broad spectrum of applications, including police network through pervasive communications, interference management, etc. While the security and privacy issue is a central concern to guarantee the functions and performance of important wireless network applications.
This workshop aims to bring together partner’s efforts in Personal Safety in the City activity to promote discussions and research on hot new results and contribution that can/will generate a new platform to ensure personal safety in the city through the use of new applications.
