STING Day - the highest density meeting of global investors per startup

Attracting 150 investors from 11 countries to meet with the 60 hottest tech startups in Sweden, STING Day - the annual event organised by business incubator STING Stockholm Innovation and Growth, takes place on 26 May. Swedish market launch of EIT Digital Challenge - startups can get 50.000 € and scale internationally

The founders of the Russian marketplace startup Avito, Jonas Nordlander and Filip Engelbert and Angelica Hull, founder and CEO of Biofuels, will share their experiences and learning journeys from building and scaling up their companies the last few years.

KM Troedsson, EA DICE and Fredrik Wester, Paradox, hosts a panel in an entertaining gaming studio setting and discuss the role of the Swedish gaming industry and deliver some trend reports.

EIT Digital is one of the event partners of STING Day and are present both to support the startups that are part of the EIT Digital Accelerator and Business Communities but also to scout for new startups and to promote the 2016 EIT Digital Challenge with a cash prize of 50.000 euro.

Daniel Michel, Head of Access to Finance of EIT Digital Accelerator is participating to meet with startups, investors and press, available to present the unique network of business developers and knowledge of the markets in various European countries and the services via the Silicon Valley hub of EIT Digital.

Göran Olofsson, Node Director Sweden and Björn Hovstadius, Lead Business Development team Sweden are also attending this high level networking event to present and promote the services and network of EIT Digital to potential scaleups in Sweden. The EIT Digital Challenge 2016 has four new categories Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Wellbeing and Digital Infrastructure.
