NFC, Near Field Communication Technology, is a relatively new radio communication technology which allows mobile phones to replace many of the cards we currently carry in our wallets. Telcred uses the network aspect of NFC phones to develop an access control system which can function offline, while being able to cope with frequently changing users and temporary access rights. A trial version of the system is installed at EIT ICT Labs Co-location Centre and you have now the opportunity to use the system and be part of the scaled up user evaluation. The system will be updated during the year and the trial scaled up.

Carlo Pompili will give you an introduction to the technology and the business opportunity for Telcred’s solution. He will also share some reflections on entrepreneurship based on current and previous experiences.

EIT ICT Labs Stockholm Master students will take active part in the trial with special NFC access cards to the CLC.

Partners who frequently spend time at the CLC may also be part of the trial. For more information contact CLC assistant Elisabeth Sahlberg.
