In the event series "Waiting for Expo" EIT ICT Labs will participate at SMAU 2014 (October 22-24, Milan) to showcase Apps and services developed on the 3cixty platform.
SMAU is the most important Italian event dedicated to Information & Communication Technologies designed to help main national and international suppliers of ICT to meet entrepreneurs, corporate and public administration decision makers and ICT operators. At SMAU will be presented cutting-edge technologies and benefits for businesses deriving from adoption of digital technologies.
This year SMAU will have particular focus on EXPO Milano 2015. At the Arena EXPO 2015 will be demonstrated the latest solutions for mobility, cloud computing, and other technological solutions that have a crucial role in enhancing the offer of Expo 2015 in the eyes of tourists arriving at the Universal Exposition.
EIT ICT Labs invites you to discover 3cixty at the EIT ICT Labs booth and attend the workshop "Beyond Maps: 3cixty, a New Platform for City Exploration" that will take place at the Arena EXPO 2015. Don't miss Smart Communities Award ceremony where 3cixty has been nominated among the finalists!

Workshop "Beyond Maps: 3cixty, a New Platform for City Exploration"
3cixty is an initiative that stands out because of its capability to integrate city data seamlessly in everyday life. It offers a platform and an ecosystem of services that provide comprehensive and diverse information on the urban environment and on urban mobility. For example, an app developed on the platform will give city visitors a possibility to explore in novel ways a variety of events and points of interest in Milan to create their own "wish list", which will help them to reach new locations and previously visited places with a mobile guide.
