This purpose off the project is to develop an Internet of Things (IoT) platform where a number of different applications can be supported such as avionics, health, building automation and travelling warehouse. This is contrast to today’s normal stove pipe oriented IoT applications that are one-off and cannot be reused. The project is planned for three years and is managed by Francesco Militano from Ericsson and Stockholm. It has three different sites - Stockholm, Helsinki and Milan. We started with an early bird project already in 2015 but now the project is in full operation in all three nodes.
Partners are vendors, universities, research institutes and SME’s– Ericsson, Engineering, KTH, Aalto University, Politecnico Milano, Tampere University of Technology, SICS, Aifloo, Bittium, Klunsys and Safemove.
