School is in for Summer!

Although it may be the dead of winter, it’s never too early to start thinking about summer. And for digital innovators and tech entrepreneurs, summer is synonymous with the EIT Digital Summer School.

According to EIT Digital Chief Education Officer Roberto Prieto, Summer School is the place to learn by doing and to get the latest insights into digital technology innovation and business development. “Open to master students, young professionals, PhD students and anyone else looking to take a deep dive into emerging digital technologies, our Summer School programme helps you turn technology into business success,” he says.

From London to Madrid, Milan to Munich, our Summer School programmes are held at several locations throughout Europe. In a manner of just two weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Learn from the faculty and staff of our top tech EU partner universities
• Immerse yourself into accelerators, start-ups, and established companies to get hands-on experience working on real business challenges
• Collaborate and network with like-minded students from around the world

“The support we received from the mentors and organisations was exceptional,” says Marta Bertran Ferrer, a past Summer School participant. “Daring us to question our initial plans, we were forced to leave our comfort zones and think outside the box – which is where the real learning happens and ideas begin to blossom.”

Every programme concludes with an opportunity to put what you learned into action – and a chance to win a spot at the EIT Digital Innovation Factory for your start-up. “My Summer School programme provided a tremendous opportunity to learn and develop my skills on how a pitch should be structured, how to create an MVP and how to organize a business plan,” says Andrei Vadineanu, a 2021 Summer School participant. “All of this while working with an amazing group of talented and unique people with whom I had a lot of fun!”
