At its core, the SME4DD initiative is about equipping businesses with the tools they need…
The finalists of the EIT Digital Challenge 2023, the leading competition for the best European deep tech scaleups, have been announced.
These finalists have been selected for their cutting-edge solutions, spanning a wide range of sectors from AI-infused healthcare platforms, sustainable energy systems, digital identity technologies, and much more. Their breakthrough innovations have the potential to reshape the future and to drive the digital transformation forward.
This year, the contest received a record-breaking 459 applications, with 34% of the selected finalists led by women.
Fabrizio Della Pace, the Head of Challenges, expressed his enthusiasm for the finalists, saying, "As a team, we are impressed with the quality of the applications for this Challenge's edition. Considering these difficult times, it is inspiring to see so many dedicated and fine entrepreneurs. We cannot wait for the final event. It is going to be remarkable!"
The journey for these finalists will culminate in an exciting finale to be held in Brussels on June 6, alongside the Grow Digital 23 conference.
During this event, they will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions in front of a panel of seasoned experts and investors.
The winners will be rewarded with a comprehensive prize package, including full-year support from the EIT Digital Accelerator, valued at €50,000.
The EIT Digital Accelerator is committed to helping the winners scale their businesses in Europe by securing international customers in target markets and assisting in raising growth funding.
