Indeex (formerly Oliveex) secures €1M seed round to expand digital twin innovation in industrial processes

EIT Digital-backed startup Indeex, an innovator in industrial process digitalization, has successfully secured €1 million in a recent seed funding round led by Uni.Fund, with participation from TECS Capital, an existing investor. This funding round marks a strategic milestone for Indeex, empowering the company to accelerate product development, grow its team, and initiate market expansion into Central Europe.

Founded with a mission to drive efficiency and sustainability in the food and beverage manufacturing sector, Indeex has developed a cutting-edge Digital Twin platform that seamlessly integrates with existing industrial setups, without the need for additional equipment changes. Indeex’s technology empowers industrial facilities with AI-driven insights and data visualization, optimizes energy use, reduces downtime, and boosts production efficiency. This streamlined digital integration has led early clients, including renowned companies like Kliafa S.A. of Hellenic Dairies and CAMPARI Group’s Ouzo 12, and several industries within the brewing sector - the primary target of the company like SIRIS Brewery (Part of Photos Photiades Group) and VAP Brewery, to experience a remarkable increase in production capacity of up to 22% and workforce efficiency improvements of up to 40% in just the first few months of implementation.

"Our partnership with Uni.Fund is a pivotal moment as we focus on scaling our business and penetrating the Central European market," said Konstantinos Akrivos, co-founder of Indeex. "The backing of Uni.Fund not only provides us with the resources to drive our growth but also offers valuable strategic guidance as we implement our expansion plans."

Uni.Fund Partner Konstantinos Lafkas emphasized the alignment of the investment with global trends toward industrial digitalization. "Indeex is at the forefront of a transformation in the manufacturing sector, combining AI, data, and simplicity in a highly actionable and scalable solution," he noted. "With global trends increasingly favoring industry digitalization, Indeex is positioned to play a significant role in the sector’s evolution."

TECS Capital, a prior VC investor of the company who also participated in the round, echoed this sentiment, with Partner Antonis Ilias expressing pride in Indeex’s progress. "We’re excited to continue supporting Indeex as it advances its strategic expansion into international markets and as the team of founders, Dimitris and Konstantinos, build on their remarkable trajectory."

This funding round marks Indeex’s latest achievement in its journey from a pioneering vision to an influential force in industrial innovation. EIT Digital is proud to support Indeex's mission to shape a more efficient, sustainable manufacturing landscape.
