The Role

The EIT Programme Manager will be responsible to drive the main processes linked to the EIT Grant for EIT Digital. She/He orchestrates the processes by liaising with all relevant stakeholders with the goal of ensuring a timely and high-quality implementation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive the main processes related to the EIT-funded EIT Digital Business plan (BP submission, amendment and reporting)
  • Coordinate the monitoring of the implementation of EIT-funded activities and the fulfilment of contractual obligations, ensure timely monitoring and reporting on overall progress, budget, and performance
  • Guide activity partners in the preparation and timely delivery of deliverables and KPIs to EIT Digital, and ensuring their quality
  • Implement processes and tools (including IT tools) that support EIT Digital have full overview of activities progress and performance
  • Data analysis and information management that supports (i) portfolio management and communication, both internally and to stakeholders, and (ii) internal performance management at organisational level
  • Ensure the technical and financial consistency of activities to be funded
  • Act as one of the main contact points with the funding agency
  • Ensure seamless procedures between the Operations teams (PMO, Finance, Legal, IT) and other areas of the organisation (Business Areas)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate, STEM preferred or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience; proven work experience in grant management implementing projects funded by different Programmes of the European Commission, such as Horizon 2020/Europe, Digital Europe, ERASMUS+, COSME, etc.
  • At least 5 years’ experience of project portfolio management and project/programme operations
  • Previous experience in managing EIT Grants is considered a strong asset
  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented, with excellent attention to detail, able to understand organization goals and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of projects administrative and financial aspects
  • Proven capability to lead the adaptation of IT Tools to support project management activity

Languages

Excellent command of English is required. Additional EU languages are considered an asset.

Employment

This is a full-time position. Employment is at one of the EIT Digital European offices. Applicant may be required for occasional travel to other EIT Digital European offices.
